Creating a new look for your space can seem overwhelming.  Take it one step at a time.  There may be just a few simple things that you can do to make a difference.  Really look at what is working and what is not working for you in your space.  Define those areas that you need to address and ask advice from friends, co-workers or neighbors.  Someone may be facing the same challenge as you are.

One way to tackle a space is by removing as much from the space as you can.  Start putting things into the space and play around with placement.  Do you have what you need for the room to function?  What do you need for the space?  Is everything you have a good fit?  If it is a good fit and something still does not feel right, maybe all you need is a new wall color, different arrangement or you have just put too much into the space.

Don't fret to much if the solution is not coming to you.  It is ok to get some professional help.  A design consult does not cost that much and you can get some great direction and guidance to get you on your way.

Look around and don't take things so serious.  That is when most of my clients lose their vision and give up.
