Today it seems as though life is a lot more hectic. I sometimes find myself running in circles loosing time! My business, family, and day to day activities keep me very busy, but I have realized the importance of having a good system. It is worth it to take time up front to create systems that will work for you in order to be more efficient. When you do this it gives you time to enjoy the little things in our life.
When we are starting a new project in a clients home or office we ask the client 5 easy questions:
1. How often do you use this?
2. Where do you need it?
3. Where would it fit?
4. Do you need it easily accesible?
5. Is this item necessary and will it help you reach your goals?
When you have a good system you will always know where to go to get what you need. You know how you work so you are the only person who can create the perfect system for you. Don't be discouraged if the first place you put something does not work. Pay attention to see if the system is really working for you. If you can't come up with a system on your own ask a friend, neighbor, husband, wife or anybody to help you possibly develop that system. If you express out loud to another person how you need it to work you may get a suggestion or have an "aha" moment yourself just by saying it out loud Don't stop until you have a perfect place for everything. This will make your day to day life more enjoyable.
